How do you Harvest Adam?… And Not Die!!!

I am loving BioShock 2(not that you didn’t know)! So I’ve had a hell of a time getting through Siren Alley and Dionysus Park… F*#k! It took me two days. The two levels are kind of linked together somewhat and I stopped in Dionysus twice and did a save and when I started the game back up… I was back in f*#king Siren Alley! I don’t know what is up with this… but it f*#ked me. I had to replay these levels 3 times so I learned a couple of things about harvesting Adam in the process. These levels especially, you need to kick some Big Daddy ass, adopt Little Sisters and harvest some mutha f*#kin’ Adam. As a matter of fact, the game will tell you that your fucked if you don’t collect enough Adam and upgrade your Plasmids continually (wow I sound like I know what I’m talking about). The Dionysus Park level forces you to do this. Here’s some helpful tips.

When you adopt your Little Sister you can find Adam by holding the X button and following the ghostly stream to the nearest dead Slicer. Now before you suck the bast*rd dry you need to do a little prep work.

1. Make sure you have at least 1 extra health pack and one Eve syringe. These are key, because you don’t wanna be lookikn’ for that sh*t in the heat of battle. You want to use your Plasmids to help defeat all the Splicers that will come out of the wood work when your Little Sister’s in mid harvest.

2. Buy Ammo! If you run out of ammo… your f*#ked. I suggest anti-personnel rounds for the .50 caliber gun… they will work great. I try and stick with one gun during the battle (unless you run out of bullets).

3. Set traps- whether it’s mini turets, proximity mines, spear traps or rivet traps. Let those traps do the work for you. I found that a combination works the best. I really like the mini turrets, but the rivet traps and proximity mines are a good combination too (if you got ‘em).

4. Use Your Plamids- My favorite Plasmid when up against a group of Splicers is the Hypno. Let the Slpicers kill each other, and do the work for you (and conserve your ammo). You can also use the Incinerate, Electro Bolt or Winter Blast… but… Winter Blast will shatter your foes when you shoot them, and you won’t be able to pick pocket the dead Splicers after the battle.

So there ya go! Choose your gun, choose you Plasmid, drop your Little Sister to harvest, put your back against a wall and wait for the fire works to happen.
